The Avanthi PG College, Hyderabad has been repeatedly adjudged as one of the best institutions and ranked as a top 2 institution in Andhra Pradesh and top 16 institution in India by "INDIA - TODAY" a reputed national magazine. Avanthi consistently endeavours to keep abreast and ahead of its times.
The academic policies of the Society have been well conceived, and it offers various science programs at Degree and Post Graduate levels, and professional core courses and applied Engineering, Pharmacy and management levels through a consortium of colleges at Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram. Since its inception, Avanthi has been functioning under the aegis of Sri M. Srinivasa Rao, harbinger of higher education. Starting with a humble strength of 9 students, the society evolved into 14 Education Institutions, giving a multi-pronged platform for various courses. A strength of about 14000 students is a striking testimony to its sojourn in the path of progress.

The admissions are of two categories, Category ‘A’ (70%) and Category ‘B’ (30%) Category ‘A’: The admissions into A Category are made by Govt. of Telangana through Centralised Counselling. The students have to qualify in the Intermediate or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% and must qualify the TS EAMCET exam conducted by Govt. of Telangana. The admissions will be made through web counselling. For other details, visit https://tseamcet.nic.in/ Category ‘B’: The admissions into ‘B’ category will be made by the management of the College based on the merit in TS EAMCET / Intermediate Marks. The admissions are made by Govt. of Telangana through Centralised Counselling. The students have to qualify in 3 years Diploma course or equivalent exam and must qualify TS ECET exam conducted by Govt. of Telangana. The admissions will be made through web counseling. Category ‘A’: The admissions into A Category are made by Govt. of Telangana through Centralised Counselling. The students have to qualify in B.Tech or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% and must qualify the GATE/PGECET exam conducted by Govt. of Telangana. The admissions will be made through web/online counselling. Category ‘B’: The admissions into ‘B’ category will be made by the management of the College based on the merit in GATE/PGECET/B.Tech. Category ‘A’: The admissions into ‘A’ Category are made by Govt. of Telangana through Centralized Counseling. The students have to qualify in 3 years Degree course or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% and must qualify TS ICET exam conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
