The Department offers a four year UG degree course, Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and a two-year PG degree course, M. Tech in CAD / CAM. The course of B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering was started in 1998-99 with an intake of 60. Subsequently the intake increased to 120 in the year 2007-08. The M. Tech. in Industrial Engineering & Management (IEM) was started in the year 2004-05 with an intake of 18.  Keeping the industry needs in view, IEM was replaced by CAD/ CAM in 2009. So far, 18 batches of UG and 11 batches of PG have successfully completed their course. We proudly announce that many students of our department have established and emerged as successful entrepreneurs. The department is well established with excellent laboratory facilities. Further, we have well qualified competent faculty with a blend of industry and academic experience supported by senior technical staff. The Board of Studies of the Mechanical engineering department considers inputs from members from Industry and academia to design curriculum to equip the students industry ready. The Department mainly concentrates to impart high Quality Technical & Professional education with rich research culture to cater present day needs.

AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches to build smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. Data Science (DS) is an umbrella term for a group of fields that are used to analyze large datasets. It is the field of study that combines domain expertise, programming skills, and knowledge of mathematics and statistics to extract meaningful insights from data.

Data Science is a comprehensive process that involves pre-processing, analysis, visualization and prediction. On the other hand, AI is the implementation of a predictive model to forecast future events. Data Science comprises of various statistical techniques whereas AI makes use of computer algorithms. With Data Science, we build models that use statistical insights. On the other hand, AI is for building models that emulate cognition and human understanding. Data Science does not involve a high degree of scientific processing as compared to AI

To enable the graduating students to be ready for the paradigm shift B.E. programme in CSE DS is designed to provide the foundations for job roles like, AI Engineer, AI Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, etc in the evolving job market scenario.

The Department of Information Technology (IT) was established in 1999-2000 with an Intake 60 for in Bachelor course in Information Technology.  This Branch is fast growing discipline and full of rigorous practical analysis. This Department has well equipped laboratories and logical reasoning is stressed in all practical applications. With highly talented faculty, the department boasts of a unique mode of learning, one that uses advanced aids of teaching. Students of this branch has fulfilled the promise kept on them by getting selection in some of the top notch of software/hardware companies of India like Satyam., Wipro, Infosys, Sierra Atlantic, MAQ Software, Cognizant a provides a high end computer System as an Am facilities to work on various platforms under the age is of well trained faculty.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI&ML) was established in 2021 with an intake of 120 students to address the growing demand for professionals in the rapidly evolving fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science.

Students are equipped with the knowledge and practical skills required to design intelligent systems and solve real-world challenges using data-driven approaches.

The department of ECM is best known for its talented and dedicated professionals renowned for their excellence in various specializations in the field of Electronics & Computers. The department is provided with state of the art technological tools incorporated in all the existing laboratories. The augmentation of the intake of the department of 60 seats. Electronics and Computer Engineering is a multidisciplinary field that combines aspects of both electronics engineering and computer science to design, develop, and manage software and hardware systems.

Electronics and Computer Engineering(ECM) merges the principles of both electronics engineering and computer science engineering. It deals with Designing and Testing Components, Design, Operating Systems, Programming Languages and Software Development. The Prominent features of Electronics and Computer Engineering includes Hardware and Software Integration, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things, Research and Development.
