My computer science bachelor’s degree at LIET included a lot of project-based learning and faculty connections. The T & P Cell at LIET assisted me in improving both my communication and academic abilities. In the end, I was able to use my skill set and learn a lot at CredoHire, where I was put at 7.5 LPA. Frequent communication with the Placement team inspired me to perform well in my interview and acquire transferable skills.
Learning, entertainment, culture, folklore, literature, and other life-preaching activities can all be found at LIET. My life was enhanced by my studies at the Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology. I got to meet a variety of people and pick up a lot of knowledge from it. I have had excellent assistance from the placement office and faculty. I am appreciative of Training & Placement Cell for giving me a stage to develop my abilities and a chance to present them. I started an internship with Bluestock as a trainee software developer and received a package worth 6.5 LPA.
After attending this prestigious college for the past four years, I have seen a significant shift in my life. The college’s placement cell also puts out a lot of effort to give students as many possibilities as possible in the business so they may transition smoothly into the workforce. landed a 5.20 LPA job as an Inside Sales Strategist at Rinex Technologies.
Our college LIET has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and good equipment required for engineering students. The college has very good laboratories for all subjects. The living space is very very good and the food is decent. Our college has a very recent academic regulation with all the recent courses which help students to get a very good knowledge over the subject and to get to know about the recent fields where we should focus on. When it comes to Placements. LIET provides an excellent placement for almost every student who has completed his course without any backlog in the course. I got placed in 4 companies, but I picked ZOHO to start my career.
Started in 2002, Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology is considered to be one of the Best Engineering Colleges in Hyderabad. The Institution is the only Muslim Minority Engineering Institution in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with UGC Autonomous Status. With NBA Accreditation (three times), NAAC A Grade (2 times) and UGC 12b, Lords is today considered to be among the Top Muslim Minority Engineering Colleges in the Country.
From humble beginnings of about 180 students in 2003, Lords currently has about 3000+ students pursuing various programs that include B.E, M.E, M.Tech and MBA. The student body represents more than 20 states of India and about 15+ Nationalities from across Africa and Asia. In the past 18 years, over 8000 students have graduated from college and are well-settled in their careers. It has the Highest student intake among all Muslim Minority Engineering Institutions in Hyderabad.
Our efforts have been acknowledged by the Industry and various Ranking Agencies. The Institution has been ranked 56th in the Private Engineering Colleges List in South Zone India by the Week Magazine in their August 2020 edition. Times of India has also awarded us 21st rank among Private Engineering Colleges in Telangana in their August 30, 2020 edition. In addition to this, media houses such as Outlook, Dataquest, Lokmat, and Competition Success Review have also ranked us among the Best Engineering Colleges in Hyderabad in the past.
Till date, over 7000 students have graduated from the Institution at the Undergraduate level and over 1200 at the Postgraduate level. Their success has had a huge positive impact on the Society. This has been made possible by the persistent efforts of the Chairman & Founder, Janab Basha Mohiuddin. The Chairman is a leading Chartered Accountant and Advocate with Business interests in Construction, Consulting & Retail. He is ably supported by the Vice Chairman, an Alumnus of BITS Pilani and ISB Hyderabad, and the Secretary, a renowned philanthropist, in running the Institution.
Lords Institute Of Engineering and Technology offers several scholarships, fee waiver schemes, and teaching and research assistance to meritorious and deserving students. The large number of students tremendously benefit from such schemes. To encourage and support students of exemplary talent, several scholarships are instituted to recognize excellence in academics, sports and deserving candidates. The quantum of scholarships and the number of scholarships are subject to change from time to time.
